  1. Its fascinating seeing all the wonderful photos you come up with! -Most of us probably haven’t got the time or the equipment to do as you do, and I’m definitely still tucked up in bed with my bed-socks and a hot drink while its cold and frosty outside. We also don’t get the heavy frosts where I live, its too sheltered, so I’m all for sharing frosts and ice vicariously – not so freezy, lol! I just need to work out how to send our hot summers your way! šŸ˜‰

    1. lol Caroline šŸ™‚
We really are having some cold days this year…surprisingly cold and then others are surprisingly warm for this time of year.
I was out again this morning and it was frosty, but not such thick frost as other days.
There was some beautiful light though…
I’m glad you’re enjoying the cold from your vantage point šŸ˜‰

  2. Wonderful rows of ice crystals marching across the top of your fence post. Love the “cliff face”. You must be having some very chilly mornings.

    1. I like the way you put that Lee. šŸ™‚
There is something wonderfully orderly about ice. It fascinates me. An enjoyable discovery.
Yes we surely are getting some cold, although not everyday… but it’s winter for sure.
Yesterday morning was roughly -6 deg C… brrr!

      1. OMG! minus 6 deg.! the only time I’ve been anywhere where it was that cold was skiing holidays down the Snowy Mts. I have a bit of a whinge if it gets below 5deg. C and wear just about all my clothes at once.

      2. lol…yes it’s cold here but fortunately only for a few months with the real cold.
Central tablelands… the wind comes straight up from the south off the snow šŸ˜‰
The wood fire is much enjoyed!

  3. When I was a child i was taken to Jenolan Caves in NSW. The stalactites and stalagmites fascinated me and the frost crystals always remind me of these in an angular way :).
