What am I?

I love experimenting with ‘up close‘ images –Β  especially with monotones and de-saturation.

I like the way it changes the subject, sometimes to the point of abstraction… wondering what the image is actually all about.

    1. Hello Andrew and thanks!
This is the flower of a Robyn Gordon grevillea. Because it’s such a quirky flower, I’m unsure whether they are the stamens…or not. I’m pretty sure each stem carries a seed. It might show up better in the previous post. It’s a favourite of mine and and Aussie native.
I’m glad you think this image has billboard potential…:D

  1. Great grevillea shot Robyn, – I would not have thought of B&W for this one as I like the colours of the flowers too much, but agree it really adds an extra impact to the abstraction here.
