Weekly Photo Challenge – Summer Lovin’

We are in the midst of winter here in Australia, so I wondered what I could do for this week’s challenge.Β  It also started out raining very heavily today, although the sun is shining now πŸ™‚

I put my thinking cap on and here’s what I came up with.

Summer_Strawberry

Strawberries are very much a summer fruit.. and very tasty.Β  There may be a few less than when I began πŸ™‚

  1. We have been getting some strawberries in our farm share and this image reminds me of how good fresh local berries are. I’m sure that all the berries are gone and there is no chance for a reshoot πŸ™‚

  2. You did well! I often think, as I did this time, how unfair it is that the challenge assumes the seasons of the US. Ah well, you guys are always up to the challenge anyway!!

  3. When Robyn puts her thinking cap on, be prepared for wonderful surprises! We are so lucky that she keeps it on all the time! Thanks so much, dear friend! πŸ™‚ Have a great rest of the weekend!

  4. You did a great job Robyn! I’ve been finding it a little difficult finding any motivation to get out and shoot lately. I have been enjoying processing my photos though.

I thought I would also mention that I did get a couple photos of the clover flowers. I think I’ll be posting them sometime this week. I processed one originally in B&W and was going to submit it for MMC for this week but then a few days after I re-did it in color and just didn’t like the B&W version in comparison and couldn’t get myself to export the B&W version.

    1. Thanks Justin..glad you think so πŸ™‚
It’s always hard to go out when it’s hot.. enjoy your processing if you’re in the mood for doing that.
We’ve had lots of wet weather and not very outside friendly either.

Will look forward to seeing your shots of the clover flowers and it is interesting that you prefer the colour version over the B&W.
Thanks for the comment Justin πŸ™‚
