Post for Brendan – Sunset Burst

Hi Brendan.. and everyone πŸ™‚

Just had to share this sight. A few days ago, at the end of the day – the whole sky was like a sunburst. It was amazing and fantastic. I ran to grab the camera to see if I could capture the beauty.

This is a 3 image wideΒ  (landscape) panorama, so it gives you an idea of the magnitude of the sky.

Wishing you an uplifting week ahead πŸ™‚

  1. Holy Cow!!!! This is fantastic, I mean really this is a show piece no doubt. Is it 100% accurate? I ask that with all due respect, excellent eye and job here. No offense to anyone, but if you don’t believe in God, how you feel now? πŸ˜‰

Sights like this are certainly uplifting and make me that much happier to be alive. I think I would have cried if I were you. πŸ˜€

    1. Hello and thank you πŸ˜ƒ
Yes, it is how I saw it – if anything colours are heightened, slightly, but not much.
We get the most wonderful colour and sunsets here at 1040m – have a look back through at some of the other sunsets and sunrises under categories – sunset. sunrise πŸ˜ƒ
Also bear in mind that Im showing a curve of the landscape in a flat image – the mountain is flattened in this image.
I find these uplifting also and never tire of them.

    1. Ooh D, happy to share – we really need some rain here! We were out Oberon way today for a drive and it stormed over there – got a bit ourselves too. Yay! It’s terribly dry. Thinking of you x
