Today’s flower is a new Marigold.
I love these (again) everyday flowers. I think they could be mistaken for being very ordinary. As children we used to pick the seeds from the old flowers and sprinkle them everywhere to grow again – I still do 😀 There’s something wonderful about the marigold – how it’s petals unfold.. and how it spreads it’s yellow cheer wherever they are.
I know, that the little spider knows I didn’t see him 😉

Marigolds are possibly my most hated flower — I can’t stand the smell! Bright, colourful, long-lasting, I grant you … but yuck.
But that’s just me. 😉
