Happy New Year everyone!

It’s the 10th of January as I write and I’m still in holiday mode.  Just the last couple of days I’ve picked up my camera again and it’s great to be refreshed and ready to go for another year… well nearly  anyway… back to routine next week.

For now though, I wanted to pop my head in and say ‘hello’ and Happy New Year to you!

Early morning warbling..
Early morning warbling..

I love Magpies and their beautiful song… This pair were singing outside my kitchen window. It made me think of this song.. and I started humming and singing… Hope you do too!

Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Reeds driftin’ on by
You know how I feel
It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
For me
And I’m feeling good
I’m feeling good…. etc..

See you soon  🙂

Post for Brendan – White out

Hello Brendan – a bit of silliness and playing with toys for this week’s post 😉

– White out on Endor –

Obviously this is not canon – but imagine for a minute, a white out on Endor 😀

Have the best week Brendan – you and your family!!

Funny face?

The afternoon light was so beautiful a couple of days ago… so I wandered out with the camera – just to capture the everyday things in my garden.

I found a funny face!!!

In my imagination, this crab apple had a cheeky look on it’s face, poking it’s tongue out 😉 I added the face!

Somehow it’s a little disturbing… lol.. and a little bit funny!  You never know what you’ll find in your front garden 😉

Post for Brendan – Enjoy

A bit of silliness this week Brendan 🙂  ..and a big hello to you and everyone!

I had a bit of fun playing this week and it made me think about taking ‘time out’ and enjoying ourselves.. even for little amounts of time.  I love this quote below… it says it beautifully.

The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.

Wishing you smiles and moments of enjoyment, in this coming week… and now!!! 🙂
